Rameshwaram

Rameshwaram, located on Pamban Island in Tamil Nadu, is one of the holiest pilgrimage sites in India and a part of the Char Dham Yatra. It is renowned for the Ramanathaswamy Temple, which has magnificent corridors, towering gopurams, and one of the longest temple corridors in the world. Surrounded by the Bay of Bengal and the Indian Ocean, Rameshwaram is also known for its scenic beauty, calm beaches, and historical landmarks like the Pamban Bridge. According to Hindu mythology, it is the place where Lord Rama built a bridge (Ram Setu) to Lanka. With its spiritual significance, architectural marvels, and coastal charm, Rameshwaram is both a sacred and serene destination for travelers.
